Christmas Eve

After shopping, I came home and opened the crate that was to be the new computer desk. After about 3 hours, it is together and reday to go. The best thing is: no outbursts or irrationality. Yes, I have a anger management issue (okay, several but that's for another time) so the peace was kept and I found something else to do instead of painting the nursey. Hey, at least it's one more item crossed out on the punch list. I'll get to the room later. The ex wife called and wanted us to oick up Ethan at 5:oopm tomorrow (another chance for my evil twin to appear) but I stayed calm and we worked it out to where we pick up Ethan at 2 Christmas day. Much better for the family get together. Watched Dodge Ball tonight, a funny break from Christmas preparations. Wish Santa was bringing me a case of 04 SP Legenday Cuts but that's not happening or at least a Bill James reference book, that would be sweet...gotta love sabermetrics. If you don't know what that is jsut google it, sit back and enjoy.

Every Project has it's own Language

after work, I put together a file cabinet for the back bedroom. Every project has it's own language and once I understood the file cabinet's the assembly really flowed. we cleaned off enough floor space to fill it back up again with paper, boxes and a wrapping assembly line. Tomorrow I might bring in golf clubs to set up a pitch and put to make the time pass on a slow day. time for dinner. holla at a playa

filling a void

A wise man once said: Baseball is alot like Church: many attend but few understand. No one at work or home to discuss my passion with so this is as good a place as any. All evolutionary biologists know that variation itself is nature's only irreducible essence. Variation is the hard reality, not a set of imperfect measures for a central tendency. Means and medians are the abstractions.

If you know where I'm going with this, please respond.

On a less serious note, I ventured out into the masses tonight after work to start Christmas shopping. Met a couple of people and had a good time slapping money down for stuff.
